Participation of Dr. Telmo Ferreira at the Lusophone Economies event
Dr. Telmo Ferreira, Managing Partner of Couto Graça e Associados, a member of CMS in Mozambique, attended the Lusophone Economies event, organized by the Brazilian law firm FAS Advogados in cooperation with CMS, in collaboration with CMS Portugal and Couto, Graça e Associados, held on October 18th in São Paulo, Brazil.
The event was opened by Dr. Luiz Eduardo Amaral de Mendonça, a partner at FAS Advogados for the labor area, followed by the partner for the tax area at the same firm, Dr. Juliana Porchat de Assis, who addressed the ongoing legislative changes in Brazil regarding tax matters. The following presentations regarding the framework of investment regimes in Mozambique, Angola, and Portugal, were made by Dr. Telmo Ferreira, Dr. Alberto Galhardo Simões and Patrick Dewerbe, respectively.
The event had the participation of various Brazilian entrepreneurs, from different sectors with potential interest in investing in the mentioned jurisdictions.
